there's a spot out on the prairie
where the coyotes love to roam
around a little old log shack I'd like to call my home
I love to sit and listen while I how at the yellow moon
beside a little old log shack I'd like to call my home
where the coyotes howlin'
the lonesome malady
the wonder around my little home
The moon shines bright on my little old shack tonight
a little old log shanty on a claim
my shack's my only fortune
I'm as happy as you are
I can sing and yodel and strum this old guitar
the meadowlarks are singing out where the doggies roam
around a little old log shack
I'll always call my home
where the coyotes howling'
the lonesome ma'lady
the wonder around my little home
the moon shines bright on my little old log shack tonight
little old log shanty on a claim
years ago I had a sweetheart
the joy of my life
one night I asked her best I could
if she would be my wife
we'd have the sweetest honeymoon
where we could be alone
in a little old log shack
we could always call our home
(solo)
that night we set to driving out to our home to be
she said she was never happy unless she was alone with me
but when she saw my paradise she seemed to take a fright
and all at once she gave a scream, "I could never be your wife"
cause you haven't got electric lights
you'll have to live alone
is this the little old log shack you want me to call my home?
I never seen her since that night she gave me back the ring
it went straight into the fire, I started to sing
where the coyotes howlin'
the lonesome ma'lady
the wonder around my little home
the moon shines bright on my little old log shack tonight
a little old log shanty on a claim
I'd like to think you never hurt my feelings when you left
for I'm a happy camper out where the doggies drift
at night I lye and listen to that coyote mingle tone
around a little old log shack
I'll always call my home
the moon shines bright on my little old log shack tonight
a little old log shanty on a claim

though the river flows
gently to the sea
he was on the shore
rooted like a tree
she was here and there
riding on the waves
but through it all she heard his call
gave it all she gave.
and though their love was hangin' on a limb
she taught him how to dance and start again
and though their love was hangin' on a limb
she taught him how to dance.
when the melody
through the window called
it echoed in the courtyard
and whispered in the halls
he played it through the night
she knew he had to go
there was something about freedom
he thought he didn't know.
and though their love was hangin' on a limb
he taught her how to dance and start again
and though their love was hangin' on a limb
she taught him how to dance.
though the river flows
gently to the sea
he's still on the shore
rooted like a tree
she is here and there
riding on the waves
through it all she heard his call
and gave it all she gave.
and though their love is hangin' on a limb
she taught him how to dance and start again

I had this job, it kind of sucked
life in Alberta, it’s pretty rough
if you’re not with them
you’re out of luck
so hit the oilfield - and buy a truck
our incomes are wasted
on nose jobs and facelifts
it’s kind of hard to keep your head, out west
chase that money, forget you’re stuck
there’s so much more here
than getting fucked
go get some cocaine to fix that rust
suck your own dick don’t
be a slut
our tax dollars wasted
on credit card payments
it’s pretty hard to keep your head,
out west
live in their truck, I’m getting fat
dining on assholes, a major stack
my trainer Pierre Martin
the trucker cliché
he was a french man thin
he’s making us drive really slow
through small towns and school zones
stop being a creepy, greedy old man
just drive the truck!
a sour well site, we’re all alone
I turned my back and bob was prone
to playing tricks, I surely hope
this cloud of nitrogen must be a fat man joke
400 pound biker, passed out behind my trailer
go find a bar, and dial stars, I shit a brick.
(at Union Carbide)
location unknown, upwind with my cell-phone
he gets up, cowboy didn’t know I cared so much
but that’s just Direct Transport
some jobs are like toilet paper
you keep it long enough to wipe your rear
and it’s not hard to wipe your ass, out west
Temptations massage, let’s give ‘em a call
ask for some takeout of sleazy bar
New City Suburbs they had to move
their bouncers’ haircut
their reputation bruised
cash dollars hazy
this Edmonton oil plagues me
It’s kinda hard to keep your head, out west

I’m so happy, you’re alive and well,
Pretty ok,
now I know why you tried to leave us
, for a minute
You’re a poet, who’s has nothing
, left to right
Now some reasons I adore you - so you might
Be the purpose you’ve been looking for,
All the life
Bleach blonde hair it’s going out of style, cause you’re too smart,
For your own good, but you don’t know it
It wouldn’t be so hard to tell you straight, If I
was insane,
I wouldn’t notice all the reasons you can
Be the purpose you’ve been looking for
, All the life
This bleeding heart’s a little cliché, yea I know like
Why we couldn’t, back in the day
I held that wall up all night for just one
Dance to stairway
You were the perfect constellation, in our skies
The ice is melting from Mars to Venus,
Your blue eyes
are way too German, my heart’s in Jupiter
, We’ll pass notes
Through the vacuum, unassumingly
, A trophy wife,
really could have been the one for me, if I had
Been the purpose I was looking for, all the life
An even tempo for a story
Now that we can’t say we’re sorry
Will you, stay with us, forever?
Help us, remember

step aside around us
walk into the cane
it has been decided
who you are - to blame
what we have discovered
is our true eternal rage
walking home at midnight
put it all to shame
everlasting mercy
what you thought - you'd gain
What we have before us
is our true eternal rage
those who know the future
those who know the reign
picking up the pieces
set on fire again

I'm waiting a long time
waiting a long
to come to my senses
I am indifferent
we are the reason this time
ever after it won't seem the same to be
all the change in the world never set you free
so go fuck yourself
In our time there's siegfried lines
of ages in kind
a revelation
revolution this time
I never wanted you to
it's all in our heads
go fuck yourself
ever after it won't seem the same to be
and all the change in the world
never set you free
so go fuck yourself.

I love you the sky is blue
Not how it goes
Fake smiles and moonlit mile
I will remember you
Days that we had
Not the ones we gave away
Fancy free you and me
Drinking on the job
Empty skies and cheaper lives
You will remember me
Days that we had
Not the nights we gave away

the kid is not mine
Sometimes… that's just how she goes
Went downtown the other day
old flame stares back at me
where've you been the last 3 years
a life without yours
no way I'm going back to stay
coming in, don't have to play around with all these - fears
i'm catching up on loose ends,
cutting corners around my face
I'd like a double double cheer
to understand these years
5 minute operation
no reparations
I wanna see you here to anger bang your tears

preppy asshole motherfucking thugs (preppy asshole)
Figure out yourself
figure out what I should want to be before I grow up
in this fucked up world you live in you can get ahead
by dressing up like "preppy asshole motherfucker thugs
who think their shit don't stink"
AWOL wouldn't use it so had to
It's a good line, I had to!
figure I should (preppy asshole motherfucking thugs)
It's not the preppy boots or ceaesar cuts
that make us hate your apathy
violence and deceit that fills your lives
I just had to play it
'cause (Jonathan) Fluvog wouldn't let him say it.
*squeek*
Figure he should walk like you
talk like you,
pretend
but we're just not like you
preppy asshole

looking for a reason
I can't find my own mind
I fall behind
I understand the concepts
of truth, and life - I think
but when it comes together
then we'll know
no, no, no, no, no, no
happiness
no, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no, no, no
The harder I look
the less I find
the more I try
so what is important
we still don't know
why don't you show me
no, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no, no, no
Happiness
Cause it's just a twisted road
we all take
the only hope is when we choose our fate
you gotta choose your pace
no, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no, no, no
Happiness

It's just the way it's gotta change your mind
in your eyes I write a letter home
now the cue to run
make those ties, undone
It's not time to go
you fake your mind
upset for letting know
a pain you'll never
show yourself, untie me
in you mind i find we all
know a lot more than what we show
know yourself, find me,
in your life, untied
we'll take it all back, and let it go
undone
was pleased to meet you
have we come this far
not knowing what we need surrounds us all
so walk beside me
a little more, crushed
a pain you'll never
show yourself, untie me
in you mind i find we
know a lot more than what we show
know yourself and find me,
in your life, untied
we'll take it all back, and let it go
undone

Houses fading
broken streetlights
but 2 out of 3 'aint bad
there comes a time
it's not that sad
you gotta remember
that 2 out of 3 'aint bad
To teach you become a student
it's not your turn, and you won't learn
the witch hunt's ending
now that it's time
it's not mine
you gotta remember
that 2 out of 3 'aint bad

like mitch the bitch or shauna's bro (Cory Turner)
Lauren Johnson, what a show
Who am I talking about
there's a lot of other people with names like that
I just had to say it
mitch will never queef it
so don't become a chotch.

A rockin' releaser
I'm growing hair
driving dad's chevy so you wanna stare
couldn't wanna be, just leave me alone
living in the past, on and on
no one's going to say it
i'm a rockabilly hipster
I like my hair a little on the side
getting my lady, we'll go for a ride
got a few bucks, gonna get some hits
hell yea!
It's rockabilly hipster
It's all the same fads
It's all the same lies
It's all about the money now so open your eyes (mind)
you're never gonna fill the hole in side
you're never gonna know
it's all in how you take it

I'm kicking back
It's a brand new day
no more friends and that's ok.
when you're living
nothing to lose
reaching back and playing those fools
figure since we're sinking so low
you back me with a new show
but it's not that easy
to just deceive me
i figured out what you're all about
jumping up, a Shout Out Out Out
so well executed
I can't believe it's you
'cause I got these
second hand blues
I'm punching out
not a moment too soon
======================
It's not making up
not taking out
not saying that you wanna be near me
take back your plan
it's in your hand
if you can't see it's around you
take back that wholesome smack
you gave me for leaving
it's not working, not working
I just wanna be near me now

Look inside
can you see anything?
what to expect from such a selfish smile
I don't know you
I don't feel you
I can't see you
I can't hear you
Disappear, disappear from everything
I cannot find a solitude
Disappear, disappear from everything
Disappear, I can't find you
Wither away
disappear from mother earth
I apologize to my mother for ever giving birth
I don't know you
I don't feel you
I don't see you
I don't hear you
Disappear, disappear from everything
I cannot find a solitude
Disappear, disappear from everything
Disappear, I can't find you
I know that everything will soon come to an end
just like you
you will not last
some things in life are meant to pass
soon one day you all will see
life was nothing, just a dream
soon you all will sew
it wasn't a part of you, no.
Disappear, disappear from everything
Disappear

Lying there, dreaming
got my heart bleeding
need a sacrifice to have
all your dreams come true
Come on down, see them
begging for a reason
well there's nothing there to see
nothing here but me
as they walk on down the line
it's not like you have time
if everything's the same
It ain't worth lying for.
never mind the reason
all your skies fade to black
separate the darkest truth
as they walk on down the line
it's not like you have time
if everything's the same
It ain't worth dying for.

Out my window and into my past
stretched to the point of no turning back
the life I been living is going too fast
with you in my life I know we're going to last
I waited so long
to find all I'm needing
is my silver dollar
my silver dollar
I give you you
Somewhere before me I'll find my way
when destiny tries me, I'll throw it all way
now that I've got you
I know i'll get through
the good times adore me
and the last times are true
I waited so long
to find all i'm needing
is my silver dollar (x3)
I give to you

Please tell me how much these demos suck, via soundcloud:
snd.sc/11fCK2i
I didn't post these shit songs to get my ego stroked; if you're thinking something, I expect you to be honest and post it, hopefully at least in a somewhat constructive way. My vaginal walls are thick, so give it to me straight.
Keep in mind, these are DEMOS... my intent here is just to put them out into the collective unconscious and hopefully some good comes of them down the road.
Even the cover songs are pretty rough, (the first 2 only) but they're still better than dubstep.
Recorded in every glamorous “studio” from T.O. to L.A. (IE the back of my semi to the front of the living room.) I didn’t have enough time to do anything with them, and some of them kinda suck... but...
That’s just the way she blows...*doo doo dump chi*
