The Footnotes - Disappear, 2002

from D-Sides (Love, Hate & Space Songs) by Davē Noël Black

about

I brought jamie's guitar back over, having re-soldered the output jack, and was testing it out playing a random riff. He ran in, turned on the ADAT and jumped on the drums. First take vocals... hence the screwups on my part... Next thing I know he released it as part of his "Footnotes" project. Sunavaross.

lyrics

Look inside
can you see anything?
what to expect from such a selfish smile

I don't know you
I don't feel you
I can't see you
I can't hear you

Disappear, disappear from everything
I cannot find a solitude
Disappear, disappear from everything
Disappear, I can't find you

Wither away
disappear from mother earth
I apologize to my mother for ever giving birth

I don't know you
I don't feel you
I don't see you
I don't hear you

Disappear, disappear from everything
I cannot find a solitude
Disappear, disappear from everything
Disappear, I can't find you

I know that everything will soon come to an end
just like you
you will not last
some things in life are meant to pass
soon one day you all will see
life was nothing, just a dream
soon you all will sew
it wasn't a part of you, no.

Disappear, disappear from everything
Disappear
